Considering the fundamental requirements, the present book has been compiled to bring out a holistic linkage and human dependence on wetlands with special reference to Manipur state. The book covers identification of economically important biological resources both plants and animals available in wetlands, consumption/use pattern, market profile and economic linkages. Some of the important wetland bioresources have been analyzed for its nutritional contents. Argo-practice of two significant edible plants namely, Water sensitive plant & Foxnut plant have been established and presented. Some dominant traditional cuisines of Manipur are also discussed.
