Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mallick is currently working as Senior Associate Professor in the School of Computer Engineering, Kalinga Institute of Industrial technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University, Odisha, India. He has also served as Professor and Head Department of Computer Science and Engineering , Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad . He has completed his Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) from Kongju National University South Korea, PhD from Siksha Ó' Anusandhan University, M. Tech. (CSE) from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), and MCA from Fakir Mohan University Balasore, India. Besides academics, he is also involved various administrative activities, Member of Board of Studies to C.V.Ramman Global University Bhubaneswar, Member of Doctoral Research Evaluation Committee, Admission Committee etc. His area of research includes Data Mining, Image Processing, Soft Computing, and Machine Learning. Now he is the editorial member of Korean Convergence Society for SMB. He has published 19 edited books,1 text Book and more than 100 plus research papers in National and international journals and conference proceedings in his credit. He is also serving as Guest editor for special issues of the journal like Springer Nature and Inderscience. Akash Kumar Bhoi [B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D.] is working as Assistant Professor-SG (Research) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), India, since 2012. He is appointed as the honorary title of "Adjunct Fellow" Institute for Sustainable Industries & Liveable Cities (ISILC), Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia for the period from 1 August 2021 to 31 July 2022. He is also working (Period: 20th Jan 2021 - 19th Jan 2022) as a Research Associate at Wireless Networks (WN) Research Laboratory, Institute of Information Science and Technologies, National Research Council (ISTI-CRN) Pisa, Italy. He is a University Ph.D. Course Coordinator for "Research & Publication Ethics (RPE)." He is a member of IEEE, ISEIS, and IAENG, an associate member of IEI, UACEE, and an editorial board member reviewer of Indian and international journals. He is also a regular reviewer of reputed journals, namely IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Taylor and Francis, Inderscience, etc. His research areas are Biomedical Technologies, the Internet of Things, Computational Intelligence, Antenna, Renewable Energy. He has published several papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has 130+ documents registered in the Scopus database by the year 2021. He has also served on numerous organizing panels for international conferences and workshops. He is currently editing several books with Springer Nature, Elsevier, and Routledge & CRC Press. He is also serving as Guest editor for special issues of the journal like Springer Nature and Inderscience. Paolo Barsocchi [M.Sc'03, Ph.D'07] is a senior researcher at the Information Science and Technologies Institute (ISTI) of the National Research Council (CNR) at Pisa, Italy. In 2008 he was visiting researcher at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Barcelona, ES). Since 2017 he is Head of the Wireless Networks Research Laboratory. Dr. Paolo Barsocchi is included in the World's Top 2% Scientists according to the Stanford University List in 2020 and 2021. He has co-authored more than 150 papers published on peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings. He has been reviewer for several international journals and conferences, member of several international program committees of conferences and workshops, and member of the editorial board of several journals. In 2012-2016 he had been one of the founder and chair of the EvAAL Competition that aims at establishing benchmarks and evaluation metrics for comparing Ambient Assisted Living solutions. His research interests are in the areas of internet of things (IoT), wireless sensor networks, cyber-physical systems, machine learning and data analysis techniques, smart environments, ambient assisted living, activity recognition and indoor localization. Victor Hugo C. de Albuquerque [M'17, SM'19] is a Professor and senior researcher at the Department of Teleinformatics Engineering (DETI)/Graduate Program in Teleinformatics Engineering (PPGETI) at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Brazil. He earned a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB, 2010), a MSc in Teleinformatics Engineering from the PPGETI/UFC (UFC, 2007). He completed a BSE in Mechatronics Engineering at the Federal Center of Technological Education of Ceará (CEFETCE, 2006). He specializes in Image Data Science, IoT, Machine/Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition, Automation and Control, and Robotics.
