When she tells her uncle Ned about the monster she saw, he contacts his friend, cryptozoologist Wolfgang Kilmer, who determines from the description that it could be the "Carolina Butcher." Wolf makes his way to Coastal Carolina in search of the creature. Ned and Wolf, along with a local retired lawman, seek to uncover the menace.
