Carolyn Powell, from Northeast Pennsylvania, grew up in a large family where storytelling was at the heart of her childhood. These tales sparked her imagination and nurtured her lifelong love of writing. After spending more than 30 years as an educator, Carolyn now shares her love of reading as an elementary librarian. She brings stories to life every day, including her own books like Something Missing and Clyde Hopper, Where Are Your Manners? Through her writing, Carolyn teaches valuable lessons about self-worth, self- acceptance, and good manners. In her spare time, she enjoys quiet walks, gardening, camping, traveling, and treasured moments with her family.
