Cluck explained further, "A second set of wings comes at some point later in a firebug's life. There is no exact time for this to occur, and it is different for every firebug. With the second set of wings, a firebug will fly away to The Gathering Tree to find a mate." (As he said that last part, his face broke into a huge boyish grin because at that moment he imagined seeing his very own true love for the first time!) Cluck gleefully slapped his friend on his shoulder, as he looped his thumbs through his overall straps, leaned back, and watched the flames perk up glowing a brilliant blue as he talked.
