This book is the result of a study on the implementation of a Clinical Nursing Supervision Model (SafeCare Model) in a hospital setting. Nowadays, it is undeniable that the quality and safety of the care provided is associated with efficient supervisory processes that are adapted to each context, taking into account the particularities of each participant, be it the clinical supervisor or the supervisee. In this sense, this book aims to contribute to highlighting the importance of promoting Clinical Nursing Supervision programs in clinical practice contexts, taking into account the gains: in terms of the quality of health services, through reflection on nursing practice and changes in practice; and the improvement of nursing practice, since these programs will contribute to the development of nurses' skills, through the systematization of training. The choice to study the variables of self-care, professional satisfaction and emotional competence is related to the fact that these are key areas for a meaningful professional practice for people, on the part of nurses.
