A total of 300 structured questionnaires were randomly distributed to residents in eight most rural of the twelve political wards. Data collected include socio-economic attributes of households, available infrastructure, rainfall and temperature parameters. Perceived evidences are increasing heat wave, fluctuating days of rainfall, loss of soil fertility and poor harvest and hence, poor cash-flow and physiological discomfort. Results from Descriptive Chi-Square show no spatial variations in awareness and responses to impacts emanating. However, tree planting and forest conservation, land use planning and re-introduction of neighbourhood parks were suggested.
