The shelter housed hundreds of abandoned -mostly adult cats- that the staff struggled with daily to care for. The goal was to try to find homes for these animals through adoption. Unfortunately, many people were only interested in adopting kittens or very young animals. Paul's intent is to encourage people to visit local animal shelters and consider adopting adult animals as well.
