Early childhood cognitive development is very important in every individual; what children experience makes a foundation for future learning. Teacher's influence is not the only factor that influences cognitive development, other factors at home and outdoor play activities are also said to contribute. However, teachers may not be aware of the impact of their verbal behaviours in classroom. Findings in this research will increase understanding on how to improve children cognitive development through positive teachers' verbal behaviour. Any observation and comments will be highly appreciated.
