Anthocleista djalonensis is a plant used for the treatment of various human ailments such as Malaria, venereal diseases, constipation, leprosy, oedema, scrotal elephantiasis and thrush. Ethanol, hexane, ethylacetate and methanol were used to obtain extracts from the root part. The purity of the compounds were ascertained by thin layer chromatography, with different solvents at different polarities.
