Aggravated breathing and lung problems in children and adults having asthma have been linked to acidic precursor gases.Critical literature survey indicated that there is an increasing trend of acidification of precipitation in rainwater. Therefore, it is imperative that the long-term studies at the rural background station should continue to know the actual position in future. The only way to know the composition of precipitation is to analyze the wet deposits of a place for their physical and chemical characters. Keeping in view the above fact the present book reports the chemical composition of rainwater in a rural place of India.
