Nano magnetic catalysts generally classified into nanotubes, nanosheets, spherical nanoparticles, nanofibers, highly porous nanocomposites. The major challenge is to design and make a desired structure with suitable surface properties and biocompatibility. Extensive efforts have been made to manipulate nanosized magnetic catalysts and its combination with other structure in order to synthesize a matrix with appropriate pore size, large surface area to volume ratio. Numerous synthetic routes have been employed in elaboration of nanomagnetic catalysts such as co precipitation, impregnation, sol-gel, combustion, thermal treatment, chemical vapor deposition, and microwave plasma techniques.
