Their usefulness has been proven from the neonatal period. They allow a prediction of the later prognosis, a search for infraclinical signs, a confirmation of associated signs, a per operative monitoring and a follow-up of the evolution. Hence a better management of children with CP to prevent sequelae and complications. A personalized therapy can thus be envisaged, according to the degree of objectivated handicap for a better social, educational and even professional integration ofthese children.
