Orphaned and raised by his uncle Roger, Polo works as a delivery boy while caring for his ailing guardian. The story explores the interplay of time, pain, and happiness. Roger, a former soldier, refuses the "migration" offered by the Friendly Agency (Double A), an organization that quantifies quality of life through an algorithm. Influenced by Mariana and the Sentinels, Polo sabotages Double A's attempts to intervene. In the end, Roger dies peacefully surrounded by Polo and Mariana, escaping Double A's control.

Autor

Alfonso Paredes Pérez nació en Oviedo en 1976 y es abogado desde el año 2000. Además de su carrera legal, ha dedicado parte de su vida a la formación y ha obtenido un máster en matrimonio y familia por la Universidad de Navarra. En 2020 lanzó su primera obra, El señor Marbury (Homo Legens), y en 2022 publicó Sonata en yo menor (Monóculo). Está casado y es padre de cinco hijos, e intenta equilibrar su carrera con su vida familiar. Alfonso Paredes Pérez was born in Oviedo in 1976 and has been a lawyer since 2000. In addition to his legal career, he has dedicated part of his life to training and earned a master's degree in marriage and family from the University of Navarra. In 2020, he published his first work, El Señor Marbury (Homo Legens), and in 2022, he published Sonata en Yo Menor (Monóculo). He is married and the father of five children, and he tries to balance his career with his family life.
