Scientists have named the ancient form of white shark as the Carcharodon hubbelli. In addition to this, scientific researchers have mentioned that unlike the modern white sharks which have serrations on their teeth for consuming marine mammals, mako sharks do not possess any as they used to feed mainly on fish.
