Josie Townsend was born in regional NSW, Australia. She is the eldest of five children. She is single-handedly raising her three children after her husband's suicide. She began writing to express her feelings and frustrations. Her first novel is based on true recorded events of her life's journey. Her fondness for Steven Spielberg movies and Stephen King books has driven her to write supernatural thrillers. She enjoys bringing imaginary characters to life. She was in a car accident at a young age which resulted in the loss of sight on her left eye. Despite being visually impaired, she endeavors to follow her heart's desires and keep moving forwards in life. She never lets hardships hold her hostage.
