Cancer is nowadays one of the most frequent causes of morbidity and mortality in the world. Recent data reported at the national level indicate an annual incidence of 35,000 cases of cancer. Several registers have already been established, including the register of the city of Rabat (RECRAB), the cancer register of the Grand Casablanca region and, very soon, the cancer register of Marrakech, and give an idea of the incidence of cancer in these different regions. On the other hand, in the region of Fez, there is currently no reliable regional database to assess the frequency and distribution of cancers diagnosed in this region and from which an anti-cancer control could be implemented.
