The resulting analysis showed that the US government is paying for physical and performance characteristics such as engine thrust, service ceiling, range, and large scale integrated circuit technology. However, evidence suggests the government is not paying to have a relative advantage over the enemy based on the physical and performance characteristics analyzed.
