She left a 15-year stint as an administrative assistant at the North Carolina School of the Arts to concentrate on writing. Terri has written several plays and one-person shows. "Pearl, your mother" introduces the world to her intelligent and slightly off-beat mother; "Flights of Imagination" is a series of stories about her three-year stint as a flight attendant for PIedmont Airlines; and "Just Gertrude," comissioned piece, was the rusult ot research on one of Mount Airy's (NC) eccentric and loveable citizens. Butterfly Wings is her first novel.
