This book is about my incredible journey with God. Even as a child, I thought I had my life all figured out. I was all about doing my own thing, or what I thought was God's will for my life. This book is about my incredible journey with God. Even as a child, I thought I had my life all figured out. I was all about doing my own thing, or what I thought was God's will for my life. But God not only had a better plan for me; He had the perfect Plan. That doesn't mean I'm perfect or special; I certainly am not. I didn't come from a perfect family. I didn't marry a perfect man. I don't have perfect children or grandchildren. In our genealogy, we've dealt with drunkenness, drugs, and pornography. Some of us have had struggles with feelings of rejection, deep-rooted insecurities, and sexual identity. Thankfully, through it all, we've experienced God's Amazing Grace and Unconditional Love. I realize, truly, that I'm just a perfect Nobody. I also know that when I've chosen to follow God and be obedient to His will, He has guided me and been with me every step of the way, even when I didn't feel His Presence. And, most importantly, He has allowed me to watch Him work. Many times, I didn't realize He was working-But God never failed to show me that He has always been at work in my life. Watching Him work has been the single most amazing blessing I could've ever experienced. I can't even begin to imagine my life without Him. I hope my story points you to Him.
