The staad is the design software for structural engineers use to perform analysis and design of various types of structures.Staad Pro is a structural analysis and design of computer program, it originally developed by Research International at Yorba Linda, CA in 1997. In late the research international engineers sold this software to Bentley Systems in 2005. For windows an older version staad 3 is used by the Lowa University for educational purpose for civil engineers and structural engineers.

Prof. Santosh S. Mohite works as an Head of Department of Civil Engineering at Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering, Ashta. He completed M.E. Structures from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He also studied PhD from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka. He has shown inclination to learn literature further.
