The journey to fulfilling our destiny will require that we humble ourselves to seek God. God is the One who knows each and everyone's destiny. If we choose to walk with God, it means we have chosen the path of righteousness. The Bible teaches that Enoch walked with God, and then he was no more (Genesis 5:24). Walking with God means forsaking all that the world has to give to serve the will of God. Many are afraid to serve or submit to God completely; we are afraid of failing God, but we are unaware that if we submit to God and His leading, it's not going to be by our own strength. If we submit to God, He will provide the strength we need to fulfill the mandate of our call. Many fail in the path of destiny because they refuse to walk with God. Refusing to walk with God means not obeying the instructions of the Holy Spirit or His leading. Faithfulness is key to fulfilling our destiny. Paul said, "I have fought the good fight of faith; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness, which the righteous judge will give me on that day, not only to me but to all who have longed for His appearance." (2 Timothy 4:7-8) These are the words of a man who has accomplished his mission on earth. Talking of destiny, not all men are called to be preachers or pastors; no, some are called to be businessmen who are called to finance the work of God on earth, and many other things.
