Author Wendy Richards has been writing poetry since she was in second grade. She has turned that love of poetry into a passion for writing children's stories in the hope of inspiring young readers. She was prompted to write when she saw the positive impact that reading had on her own children. Now retired from teaching, Wendy can often be found enjoying a nice cup of tea while writing her latest children's story.
