The reason for doing this is to represent the peaks and troughs of life:even at my lowest points, there would be a sudden smile from a stranger; that embrace that would momentarily take away the pain, or some words serving as a reminder of the author's worth in this world, when she could no longer see it herself. These poems contain strong language.
