Purpose: To report the results of posterior spinal arthrodesis combined with Ponté osteotomies in Scheuermann's disease.Methods: Retrospective study of ten patients with Scheuermann's kyphosis treated surgically at the department of pediatric orthopedics at the Béchir Hamza children's hospital in Tunis. It is based on a healthy lifestyle, physical therapy and devices. Surgery is considered only for painful and unsightly kyphosis at the end of growth or after failure of orthopaedic treatment.Conclusions: Surgical treatment of Scheuermann's disease is difficult, fraught with morbidity and should only be considered in exceptional cases after failure of orthopaedic treatment.
