Most little girls dream of someday becoming a BRIDE. We dream about the dress, the ring, the wedding, and most definitely we dream of the prince who will someday sweep us off our feet. We dream that we will be loved by him, and that he will be loved by us in the perfect loving relationship. We like to picture ourselves as royalty with our groom as the King and we, his Queen. It's a dream that is treasured, protected, and shared only with our "best" friends. But often, some things about our dream begin to change. For some, the dream begins to fade, and it is replaced with a reality that is far different. For others, their pure heart is abused, and the dream is stolen. And then for some, the dream is compromised and traded out for the current world's view. We hear comments like: "Did God really say?"; "No one ever stays together"; "You've got to be independent, and able to take care of yourself"; "That kind of love is just in fairy tales, it's not the way it works in the real world"; "No man will ever really love you; he'll just use you." Bride Unveiled is based on Revelation 19:7 "Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready." (NIV). The Father's heart is for His Son's Bride to be prepared and ready to enjoy the intimate relationship with Him. One way the bride prepares is by allowing Holy Spirit to remove her veil so that she can see for herself what has been concealed, covered, or disguised before the wedding. That is why this teaching is called the Bride Unveiled. The intent is to prepare young women for both earthly marriage and for an intimate relationship with God. Preparing the Bride for her eternal bridegroom, Jesus, is the very thing that will best prepare her for the earthly marriage relationship. In loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and placing Him above all others, you are able to enter into the earthly marriage with God as the center of your love. With God as the center, He also becomes the strength! Unveiling has great significance. We know that, traditionally on the wedding day, the groom removes the veil to uncover and see his bride face to face and for that intimate kiss signifying the two are now one. We also know from scripture that when our bridegroom Jesus died, the veil or curtain in the Jewish temple between the Holy of Holies (where God dwelt) and the rest of the temple (where man dwelt) was torn (Matthew 27:51).The preparations chapters presented here were birthed out of the declaration from Robyn Tucker, "Someday my daughters will know the TRUTH!" These words were inspired by Holy Spirit because at the time these words burst out of her mouth, she was 21 years old, unmarried with no children, and struggling with a broken heart. She thought she had found her "Prince Charming" and fell head-over-heals in love with him. The only problem was he did not share her love for Jesus. She believed all the lies Satan told her that her prince would eventually come around, but when the relationship fell through, she found herself far from "happily-ever-after." True love later found her and her dedication to training her two biological daughters and her countless spiritual daughters has resulted in the chapters that follow. It is important to note that these have been developed over several years of training young girls face-to-face and with the participation of many who have caught the vision.
