Ernie Meade was born into a house with a mother and grandmother who were teachers and a great grandmother who lived in the south during the Civil War. She had great stories to tell and instilled a degree of wanderlust that set the stage for many great adventures, while his grandmother told him to paint a picture with words so that he could look back and remember the moment.
