Despite all the benefits, a general decrease in the practice of breastfeeding has been reported across certain regions and populations. If the health benefits of breastfeeding is to be optimal utilized, it is expedient to explore information on the knowledge, attitude and practice of breastfeeding positions and its association with musculoskeletal among nursing mothers. The impact of breastfeeding postures on the musculoskeletal system could be an indicator of non-adherence to breastfeeding initiatives even when its potential benefits are known. Autor

Chidozie E. Mbada (MSc PT) is a researcher and lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Nigeria. He is a fellow of the African Doctoral and Dissertation Research Fellowship, Kenya and He's currently a PHD candidate in Physiotherapy at the Univeristy of Ibadan, Nigeria. Akinsiku Omotola is a researcher in Medical Rehabilitation at the OAU.
