The Extraction & Production segment (SBU1) needs to review its safety measures and implement a more ambitious policy. The Refining & Marketing segment (SBU2) is concentrating on the reorganization of its refining strategy, notably in the US. The Alternative Energy segment (SBU3) is providing good business thus is recommended to continue investing in bio-fuels and wind energy. At corporate level, BP has to manage carefully the spill trial to be held at the beginning of 2013 in New Orleans.
