In April 2008, Alpha Executive Air established a fixed base operation (FBO) and began operating regularly scheduled flights twice daily between Boundary Bay Airport and Victoria International Airport on Vancouver Island, as well as charter service using Turbine pressurized aircraft. Many smaller airlines use Boundary Bay Airport's maintenance facilities. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by NAV CANADA and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency.
