Consumed with guilt and fear, Megan has to find the dragon mage, free her, and hope that she is forgiven before the Irish queen decides Megan is only good for a tasty snack when her highness is feeling hangry. Meanwhile, Sorcha is upset, the bounty hunter's guild needs both of them to keep working, and Megan's back to the question of how she'll find an ancient Fae mage, who now has a magical dragon, across all the splinters of reality. Merlin's magic and her own borrowed magic better be enough, otherwise this is going to be a very short quest. Dragons, besides being a girl's best friend, are grumpy at best, and utterly merciless at worst. Megan knows she's tasty, she just doesn't want it proven posthumously.
