BORDER is the eleventh work of fiction written by the author Judith Lea Koretsky. These stories tell of shipping and trade in the Puerto Rico islands, commerce with the United States, and border custom's patrol in the South and Florida. They attempt to explain causes for numerous shipwrecks, predominantly over the mid-Atlantic, and causes of three airplane crashes worldwide during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Autor

J. Lea Koretsky worked over twenty years in the field of child abuse investigation. She interviewed child victims and brought to the court her expertise on substance abuse treatment and drugs and diversion. A frequent lecturer on the troubled child and the impact of out of control behavior, she combines her work experience with teaching beginning novelists how to write and become published. She is a member of PEN. She resides in California.
