Typical of Baby Boomers reaching that certain age, Jan seeks to re-invent her 40+ year career experience as a business and technical writer. She also shares that boomer-typical desire to pursue meaning in her next phase in ways that make a positive difference in the lives of others. Jan is a transplant from the Kansas City area, and before that, central Michigan. In 2009 she finally took steps to realize her dream to experience the Pacific Northwest outdoor lifestyle and culture unique to Portland. Exploring the forests, wetlands, mountains, gardens, the coast, wine country, the gorge, downtown and more.
