The issue at hand is the negative impact of social and cultural influence on body image and self-esteem during this vital period. Conducting the study deepened the understanding of the unique challenges adolescents face regarding body image and self-esteem, particularly the interplay between social influences such as peers, parents, and mental health issues like anxiety, depression etc. The need for advocacy in integrating mental health and body image education into school curricula, and pushing policies that address adolescents mental health issue and body image concerns are presented through this study.
