The security issues of Bluetooth has been an active area of research for the past few years. This book presents some vulnerabilities of this technology and proposes some countermeasures. It also provides some tips that end-users can implement immediately to become more cautious about their private information. A fairly new concept is also introduced in this book which uses a secure Bluetooth networking technology in a public environment to enable social networking between multiple users who do not have access to the internet.
