Zwei tiefe Schnitte in ihrem Bauch bilden ein tödliches Kreuz. Alle Versuche, die beliebte College- Professorin zu retten, bleiben vergeblich.
Bei der Autopsie muß Sara feststellen, daß Sybil auf grauenhafte Weise vergewaltigt wurde. Daß Sybil blind und damit so gut wie wehrlos war, macht den brutalen Mord noch entsetzlicher. Sara ist fassungslos.
