We are the hindrances to our own blessings. What could have caused our blessings to be held up, much more in the branches of the trees? Instead we do the opposite by going ahead of God’s plans, and then unexpectedly there is a delay. After we have realized the promises are not forthcoming, we remind the Lord of his unfulfilled promises.
