This is a collection of poems that were written through some difficult times lived, experiencing the heartaches and struggles in a marriage with someone emotionally and verbally abusive. Living in that environment almost caused me to lose myself, enduring those years of abuse. Living in that environment almost caused me to lose myself, enduring those years of abuse. Also shared, are poems about how I was able to find the courage and strength to break free, move on, and pick up the pieces of myself, and heal again. There are many poems written throughout the book on renewed hope, and inspirational ones as well, that share joy and a new life of freedom, being able to live in peace again, growing and learning myself along the way since breaking free from an unhealthy relationship. May these poems be healing and helpful to those reading them, who are going through some of the difficulties shared in my own experiences. I am definitely living proof, and believe, there is always hope!
