Comparisons of the risks and benefits of medications related to osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) in order to facilitate medical decision-making for the treating physician, dentist, dental specialist, and patients 3. Guidance to clinicians regarding: a. the differential diagnosis of BRONJ and MRONJ( exposure to antiresortive or antiangiogenic drugs) b. BRONJ prevention measures and management strategies 4. Role of MMP in BRONJ. This book not only provides information about the side effects of bisphosphonates but also lay emphasis to the beneficial role of this drug other than its main function of bone loss inhibition (e.g.,host modulation, as an analgesic etc.).
