There was significant increase in peroxidase (PO), polyphenol oxidase (PPO) and phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) activities in diseased leaves of all three varieties-RGC-936 (susceptible), RGC-1003 (moderately resistant) and RGC-986 (resistant) of clusterbean.
