A field experiment was carried out at Agronomic Research Area University of Agriculture, Faisalabad during summer 2012. The experiment concluded the study of efficacy of Puma Super 69 EW (Fenoxaprop-P-ethyl) along with the use of Clover 10 SC (Bispyribac sodium) for the control of weed flora in direct seeded coarse rice. Herbicides viz. Clover 10 SC (Bispyribac sodium) at 25 g a.i. ha-1 and Puma Super 69 EW (Fenoxaprop-P-ethyl) at 702, 937, 1171 and 1406 g a.i. ha-1 were applied as an early post emergence spray. The variety of coarse rice namely KSK-133 was sown in the first fortnight of July in 20 cm spaced rows using seed rate 75 kg ha-1. A weedy check was maintained for each replication. The field trial was laid out in a randomized complete block design with four replications and net plot size of 6.0 m x 2.0 m. Data regarding weed density, biomass and yield components of rice were recorded and results were interpreted.
