Our hero, Baskar was enamoured by the Princesses of Regional Engineering College, Shyamala and Sujatha who fell in love with him. With the consent of the parents of Siva and Guna, Baskar marries Shyamala. Sujatha, being a non-Brahmin, Sujatha finds difficult to marry him as it is an inter-caste marriage.
