Early in her life, her dad wanted a car. They left the Amish and joined the Mennonites. The deep, dark secrets of her family's dysfunction, she vowed never to expose to anyone. However, that decision got her in difficult situations as an adult. Much of her under-the-surface unhappiness was due to the decision to never talk or tell of the abuse. When she decided to heal from the wounds, she discovered this dilemma was a generational problem and much more prevalent than she imagined. It is her hope that through her journey to heal, it will also give others the courage to heal. It is for those who may find themselves in this situation.
