The retreat was filled with approximately 36 other black women from all over the world searching for the next step after achieving several important goals in their lives. They were all accomplished leaders, working on becoming the best versions of themselves. Often, black women are looked at as strong caregivers who carry the weight of others' burdens yet do not share their issues. At this retreat, all the women were encouraged to leave their "supershero" capes behind and share, or hold spaces for others that needed them.
