Gage County Historical Society and Museum strives to preserve the county's history, including Beatrice, Nebraska. Its mission is "to preserve, enhance, and showcase the unique history of Gage County by connecting our stories to develop appreciation throughout the wider community." The museum is housed in the 1906 Chicago, Burlington & Quincy passenger depot in downtown Beatrice.
