KI SUNG KIM is a Korean American. He got discharged in honor from the Rep. of Korea Marine Corps and got ordained in the Methodist Church of Norway in 1983. He has pastored a few Norwegian-speaking congregations in Norway and a few Caucasian congregations (UMC) in Wisconsin. He served on the pastoral staff of Stanford University Church for a few years and as a campus minister for over nine years, a total of over twelve years as a chaplain at Stanford. He preached in several hundred churches in about forty different countries. Rev. Kim is scheduled to serve a UMC congregation in California as its lead pastor from July 2025.
