They became so ingrained in our blood, that children are born with a fear of the dark as an instinct. They gravitate towards light without understanding the reasoning. They became so ingrained in our blood, that children are born with a fear of the dark as an instinct. They gravitate towards light without understanding the reasoning. It is a desire that develops before the truth can fully be understood. It is not truly the darkness we should fear, but what could be lurking in it. It is such a shared belief that the terms: Dark and Light, have become synonymous with Evil and Good respectively. How ironic it is that now Humanity must take refuge in the Dark, to hide from the Monsters that walk in the Light.
