Spencer has been chasing turkeys since 1977, and to date has hunted them in three countries and more than 30 states. He and his outdoor writer wife Jill Easton travel from mid-March to late May, chasing the gobble in six to ten states every spring. They make their home in the north Arkansas Ozarks, surrounded by the forest and, in years following decent hatches, by turkeys.
