There are many existing solutions for License Plate Recognition but the efficiency of localization and recognition is poor especially for Indian License Plates which is generally high complex in terms of license plate size, position and fonts. The major problem in India is that most of the number plates do not adhere to the standards. Many license plates are seen with some symbol or picture like rose, flag, profession logo, film actor/actress image and the list continues endlessly. The objective is to extract and recognize vehicle registration numbers from vehicle images without any human intervention.
