Achieving REDD+ goals require environmentally effective, economically efficient, equitably distributed and politically feasible impacts. There are, however, critical challenges concerning implementation of REDD+ projects at local level that involve forest-dependent communities. This book examines those critical challenges vis-a-vis REDD+ related policies in detail and contributes to an overall scientific understanding of this emerging REDD+ regime on this topic.

Autor

Graduated in Earth Science (BSc) from Asmara University in 2002, and worked for Ministry of Land, Water and Environment in Eritrea until 2006. Worked for ICRC in Sudan in 2006-2008. Later Graduated in Sustainability Science (MSc) from Lund University, Sweden in 2011. Since then, have been working in teachings, integration and politics in Sweden.
